Specialist donor identification
Finding my donor was monumental. Now I help other donor-conceived people find theirs.

You don’t need to have a crisis, a medical emergency, or any other “good reason” to know who your biological parents are.
I know because I was lied to my entire life about my origins. And it wasn’t until I found my donor that everything started to make sense.
Sophie Ash, Founder of Donor Reveal
Using a combination of genetic testing and genealogical research, I was able to find three siblings and finally piece together what was missing from our origin story.
My biggest epiphany was this:
There was never anything
wrong with me.
I didn’t feel like I belonged in my family because I didn’t; it was manufactured.
It wasn’t easy to find my donor, but it’s the best thing I ever did. Because now I know who I am, where I come from, and that I’m exactly who I’m supposed to be.
My signature package
I’ll spend five days digging into your DNA matches, family trees, public records, and any other clues you have. Afterwards, I’ll send you a detailed report explaining what I found and where we can go from there.
DNA testing required

After being told ‘the donor records were destroyed’ and ‘you won’t ever be able to find out who he is,’ finally having a picture, a name, and the opportunity to make contact with my biological father feels incredibly surreal. I didn’t realise how incomplete I felt before. I now know my genetic roots and I feel at peace.

No. I specialize in finding biological parents because that’s what I was able to do for myself and my siblings, and I find it to be the most rewarding thing about the work I do.
No. I was conceived in the UK, reside in Canada, and travel the world regularly. As long as you provide as much information as you have regarding your donor, we can make it work.
I’ll analyze your DNA matches, build and compare family trees, search public records, and follow every credible lead connected to your donor. At the end of the fifth day, you’ll receive a detailed report explaining what I found and what I recommend doing next. Please note that DNA testing must be completed before we work together and is excluded from the listed fee.
As soon as I receive your application form, I’ll let you know right away whether I think I can help, how soon I can start, and what to expect in terms of ongoing timelines.
I am a skilled genealogist and was able to find my own donor against all odds. I can’t guarantee I will make significant headway in finding your donor, but I can promise you that you’ll be in great hands. The report you’ll get will more than likely put you further ahead than where you are now, since there is so much to learn about our origins.
Then my work here is done! It’s completely up to you if you’d like to try and make contact with your donor, or if the information I find for you is all you’ve ever wanted.
We will cross that bridge when we come to it. If it seems like there are still many more avenues we could take, we may agree on a pay-as-you-go arrangement where I continue the search and provide daily updates. You’ll have the option to stop the search at any time.
Contact information will be provided once we’ve established a working relationship, and you’ll be able to get in touch via email any time you need. I’m very responsive.
