Donor Reveal Inc. respects the personal nature of the information you may choose to share. This policy explains what information is collected through this website, why it is collected and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

If you complete the enquiry form, Donor Reveal receives your name, email address, the type of donor or biological parent you hope to find, whether you have taken a DNA test and any details you choose to include in your written answers.

Please do not submit DNA data files, medical records, identity documents, financial information or other files through the initial enquiry form. The form does not support file uploads.

How your information is used

Your information is used to understand your enquiry, assess whether Donor Reveal may be able to help, respond to you and maintain appropriate business records. Submitting the form does not create a client relationship or commit you to purchasing a service.

Formspree and international processing

The enquiry form is delivered using Formspree, a third-party form-processing service. When you submit the form, the information you enter is transmitted to Formspree and then delivered to Donor Reveal. Formspree operates in the United States and other countries, so your information may be processed outside Canada under laws that differ from Canadian law.

Sharing and retention

Donor Reveal does not sell or rent the personal information submitted through this website. Information may be handled by service providers that support the website, email and business operations, or disclosed when required by law.

Enquiry information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate a potential working relationship, provide any services you later request, maintain appropriate records or meet legal obligations.

Security

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect personal information. However, no website, email system or online transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask to access or correct the personal information Donor Reveal holds about you, or request its deletion where it is no longer required to be retained. You may also withdraw an enquiry at any time.

Children

Donor Reveal works with donor-conceived adults and may work with a parent or legal guardian searching on behalf of a child. A child should not submit this form independently.
